ARTIFICIAL LIGHT / RURAL TERRITORY

Honduras Pueblo, 2005. Ernesto Valero Thomas (EVTh)

The consumption of artificial light is a pivotal element on human territories. Infrastructure networks such as water supply and electricity act as symbols of progress, offering a safer and healthier lifestyle to the citizens. It is prudent not to underestimate the advantages of science and technology that have improved the lifestyle of the dwellers of rural and urban territories. On the other hand, it is essential to examine the possibility that segmented network infrastructures can deliver appropiate services in a more diverse and flexible manner than homogenous public services.
